A few reasons, but the most pressing that might be relevant to you is that they've mentioned there's nanites in our system. Tiny, microscopic machines that allow for the use of this [a flick of his wrist to bring up the I.R.I.S. interface] and who knows what else.

They probably wouldn't tell us if it's possible, but it might be able to kill us or override our bodily control.

Not yet. I would rather draw a blood sample early, before we're in the environment too long. A later sample can be used for a comparison.

However they seem to refuse to be willing to offer me a lab for an analysis.
