[the first thing scien does is kick dahut into the surgery theater, where there is now a very familiar machine built and standing politely in the center of the floor. it's not a full reliver machine, but it is instead only the portion that is capable of taking in uploads of peoples' memories. though there's something slightly different, given that this version of the machine also has a full color monitor attached to it.
